Before I give you my own weight loss trick, let me share some of the tips that I took from others. These came from individuals during their actual weight loss process. i found them extremely helpful in helping me burn off the fat and lose weight.

“Rather than deprive myself of all the bad-for-you foods, I decided that I would give up only three. Fast food, soda, and ice cream. I also started drinking 64 ounces of water each day. Whenever I would get stressed out, I would power walk around my neighborhood for about 15-20 minutes. As time got closer to my wedding, I felt myself stressing more and more, so power walking really came in handy”. —Kayla Robertson, Omaha, NE, Lost 18 lbs.

“I removed the words ‘weight loss’, ‘diet’, and ‘fat’ from my vocabulary. I instead focused more on my overall health and well being. This made me realize that regardless of how much weight I loss, it was for a great cause. I continued to eat my favorite foods, but instead learned to eat them in moderation. I stopped starving myself like I was doing in the beginning which would later cause me to binge on sweets later. Once i started eating three proper meals a day and exercising regularly, the pounds started to fall off naturally”.  —Kelly Davenport, Spokane, WA, Lost 22 lbs.

“The one major thing I did to lose weight was to stop eating so much sugar. For instance, I am a big coffee drinker, and I used to add six packets to each cup of coffee. That really adds up! Especially when you drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee each day. Instead I started using a sugar substitute, and that one small change to my diet alone made a huge difference”. —Angie Barker, Brownsville, TX, Lost 16 lbs.

Now here’s another tip to lose weight:

Learn how to exercise properly. When I say properly, I’m not saying run 5 miles, lift a 100 lbs, or workout 5 times a week. There’s plenty exercises you can do to help burn fat and lose weight. Not everyone likes doing situps, pushups, and running. There’s plenty exercises you can do that will greatly improve your health while losing weight at the same time. Some of those include:

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Jump Rope
  • Power Walking (park, mall, neighborhood, etc)

…..and more

Find exercises you like, and do them correct, because that’s the key to exercising. Form!

“I lost weight for a company vacation. The weight loss system I started with was CORE FUSION. It fuses core conditioning, pilates, the Lotte berk Method, interval cardio training, and yoga. Going to a class and having a group setting really motivated me. It helped me focus on total body toning with extra focus on the core, which was my target area. The class bridges the mind and body to improve overall well being while fulfilling my fitness goals – a perfect workout to clear my head from the stressful planning leading up to the vacation! It was my favorite hour of the day and really kept me balanced. The class also taught me that you do not need to use heavy weights to get toned armed. They recommend 3 to 5 pound weights, which – believe it or not – still really toned my arms”. — Andrea Anderson, Clearwater, FL, Lost 20 lbs.

For now, I’m going to leave you with these simple weight loss tips. In my future posts, I’ll be explaining my exact journey. You’ll learn how I was able to burn fat and lose weight for my high school reunion in just 21 days.
